Jazz hoping to close out Nuggets at home

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -The Utah Jazz hope they just made their last trip to Denver this season.

The playoff series between the Jazz and Nuggets returns to Utah on Friday night for Game 6. The Jazz can wrap up the series with a win at home or the Nuggets can push it to Game 7 on Sunday in Denver.

The Nuggets avoided elimination with a 116-102 victory over Utah on Wednesday night, but Utah still leads the series 3-2.

Utah coach Jerry Sloan said on Thursday that the Jazz will need a stronger effort in Game 6 than they had Wednesday in Denver.
